About Us

The Beginning

Calvary Baptist Church’s Early Childhood Education Center began as a 4 year old “pre-Kindergarten” program in 1995 and remained as such until 2009. Then in the summer of 2009, God laid a preschool on the hearts of our pastor and leadership staff. Since the beginning of that new endeavor we have been blessed to see this ministry grow to serve more than 75 children each year. We are a ministry of Calvary Baptist Church and we share the church's campus and facilities as well as its Biblical focus and loving atmosphere.

Our Mission

Calvary Baptist Preschool is a Ministry of Calvary Baptist Church. Like all ministries of the church, our spiritual mission is to help each child develop a worldview that is Bible based and distinctly Christian. Every aspect of a child's preschool experience is therefore built on this foundation and in accordance with the Calvary Baptist Church Statement of Faith.

Our Purpose

The purpose of Calvary Baptist Preschool is to provide children with supervision and instruction in a safe and loving Christian environment. Every effort is made to ensure that CBP teachers, textbooks, activities, policies, procedures, etc. are in harmony with this purpose and in accordance with the principles taught in God's word (the Bible). From preschool through high school, Calvary is a Bible-based, Christ-centered ministry that seeks to lead children to know and love the Lord Jesus Christ, build them up in the Christian faith, and equip them to serve the Lord for life.

Well Rounded Experiences

Classes and Curriculum

Our program offers the Abeka curriculum for ages 2 through 4 years. Our well-trained staff follows a planned, formal schedule of instruction each day. The lesson plans incorporate a variety of fun-filled activities. Our staff is actively involved with the children’s daily activities, enjoying the experiences and wonder of learning alongside the children. Our Prayer

We pray for the Lord to send us families who are truly a good fit for what we offer here at Calvary Baptist Preschool. After examining all the available information, if you determine that we will be a good fit for your family, we invite you to take the next steps. Class Size

We offer small student to staff ratios to ensure that your child has the individualized attention he or she needs on a daily basis. Our ratios are:

We are annually inspected by the North Carolina Division of Child Development under religious exemption status.
